349-Bed Acute Care Teaching Hospital | Level II Trauma Center
Shift: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM | Alternating Weekends
Department: ICU/CCU – Critical Care Service Line

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to float throughout the Critical Care Service Line, including:

• ICU
• Medical Stepdown
• Surgical Stepdown
• Cardiothoracic Stepdown

CLINICAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Ventilators, endotracheal tubes, and tracheostomies
• Immediate post-surgical and trauma patients
• Neurosurgery and neuro-interventional patients
• Post-cardiac catheterization care
• DKA management
• Cardiac drips and sedation titration
• Arterial lines
• Swan-Ganz catheters
• Transvenous pacing wires
• Post-structural heart patients
• Telemetry and lab interpretation

REQUIREMENTS:

• Active New York State RN License
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• 2+ years of critical care experience required
• 3+ years preferred
• Strong critical-thinking and time-management skills
• Must be comfortable floating throughout the Critical Care Service Line
