Special Education Teacher in Glendale, CA

What You Bring:

• Current, active California CTC credential with a Mild to Moderate authorization
• Experience teaching or supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Ability to create and implement differentiated lesson plans

What You'll Do:

• Teach and support a manageable caseload of up to 10 students, TK-5
• Deliver specially designed instruction with a focus on individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate closely with general education staff, related service providers, and families
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress monitoring
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and ensure legal compliance in delivering services
• Provide ongoing advocacy and support to help each child reach their full potential

This opportunity offers a consistent, part-time schedule—working two days weekly from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm—which enables a healthy balance between professional and personal commitments.
