Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor for a full-time, direct hire opportunity with a growing food manufacturing operation in Mendota, CA. This high-visibility leadership role is ideal for a hands-on production leader with a strong background in food processing, team development, safety, quality, and operational performance.
The Operations Supervisor will oversee daily plant production activities, support cross-functional coordination, and help drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, productivity, labor efficiency, and cost control. This is a strong opportunity to join a stable and expanding food production environment with supportive leadership, collaborative teams, and the ability to make a meaningful impact on employees, processes, and plant performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily production operations to ensure production schedules, quality standards, and safety expectations are met.
- Coach, mentor, and develop production employees and team leads while building a culture of accountability, teamwork, and performance.
- Ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, OSHA, food safety regulations, quality systems, and company policies.
- Monitor production KPIs, identify operational gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve productivity, waste reduction, labor efficiency, and cost control.
- Partner with Quality, Food Safety, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Shipping teams to resolve issues and support smooth plant operations.
- Maintain production reporting, operational documentation, shift communication, and support facility improvement or capital project initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation: $90,000 annually.
