Qualifications & Experience:

• Active California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) license with a Mild to Moderate authorization
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting
• Strong commitment to meeting the academic and social-emotional needs of diverse learners
• Effective communication skills to engage with students, families, and colleagues
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
• Organized, reliable, and passionate about inclusive education

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and support for students in grades TK-5
• Develop and implement IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Adapt curriculum to meet students’ unique learning needs
• Assess and report on student progress regularly
• Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Create a positive and welcoming classroom atmosphere
• Maintain compliance with all required documentation
