Assembler

Join a dynamic team in Statesville, NC, where you will play a key role in assembling front-end loader and smaller tractor equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

• Position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or utilize a blueprint.
• Assemble and fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners using hand tools.
• Remove small quantities of metal to produce close fits between parts.
• Tend to machines to perform force fitting or fastening operations as specified.
• Maintain safety consciousness at all times.
• Keep the work area clean and perform basic housekeeping duties throughout the shift.
• Be open to other roles and tasks as requested by supervisors or managers outside of typical assembly duties.

• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably assembly.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience working with hand tools.
• Blueprint reading experience.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work orders.
• Capability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in an assembly line environment.
• Proficiency with power tools.

The work environment is climate-controlled and very clean. The shift is from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with potential work on Fridays as needed, allowing for a three-day weekend if not required on Fridays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Statesville, NC.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
