Slitter Operator

Now hiring experienced Slitter Operators!

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Slitter Operator to assist in the production process at a leading global printing company.

Schedule – 12 hour rotating shifts, 2/2/3

Day: 7am-7pm

Night: 7pm-7am

Duties Include

• Set up, operate, and monitor slitting machines to accurately cut materials according to specific job orders
• Utilize measurement tools to inspect finished products for quality
• Maintain records of production runs, measurements, and quality inspections
• Inspect slit rolls for surface defects, wrinkles, etc.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a printing manufacturing environment operating slitter machine
• Familiarity with measurement techniques using precision measuring instruments
• Knowledge of machinability of different paper weights, sizes, kinds and colors so as to be able to identify paper conditions
