Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist II to support a broad range of HR operations in California. This copportunity is ideal for someone who can balance day-to-day administration with employee support, onboarding coordination, and benefits-related activities. The role works closely with HR leadership to maintain compliant, efficient processes while helping create a positive employee experience.
Responsibilities:
• Provide front-line support for employee relations matters, responding to questions and helping address workplace concerns in a timely manner.
• Manage core HR administrative activities, including maintaining employee records, preparing documentation, and ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
• Coordinate onboarding for new hires by organizing pre-employment steps, facilitating orientation activities, and supporting a smooth start for employees.
• Assist with benefits administration by helping employees understand available programs, processing related transactions, and resolving routine issues.
• Maintain and update HRIS records, generate reports, and support data accuracy across human resources systems.
• Partner with the HR Manager on generalist-level initiatives and contribute to consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
• Support compliance with employment practices by tracking required documentation and helping ensure HR processes align with internal standards.
• Contribute to process improvements and assist with HR operational changes or system-related updates as needed.
• 7+ years of experience in human resources with strong exposure to generalist responsibilities.• Demonstrated background in employee relations, including handling sensitive matters with sound judgment and discretion.
• Experience supporting HR administration, onboarding activities, and benefits-related processes.
• Proficiency working with HRIS platforms and maintaining accurate employee data.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well with employees at different levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of standard HR practices, documentation requirements, and confidential record handling.
