Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist - Fort Jones, CA

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A retail pharmacy is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist available from October 26 to October 30 to support high-volume operations. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Pharmacist comfortable managing 400–500 prescriptions daily in a fast-paced environment and experienced with PioneerRx software.

Location: Fort Jones, CA (worksite will be at a retail pharmacy in nearby Yreka)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and dispense 400–500 prescriptions daily
• Provide excellent patient counseling and support
• Manage inventory and perform pharmacy operations using PioneerRx software
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards

Desired Qualifications:

• Active California Pharmacist license
• Recent experience in retail pharmacy settings
• Proficiency with PioneerRx or ability to quickly adapt to new software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
