Special Education Teacher in Daly City, CA

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and valid California Mild to Moderate Disabilities Teaching Credential required
• AAAS (Autism Authorization) credential must be current
• Previous experience working in special education, preferably at the elementary level
• Skilled in adapting curriculum and instructional strategies for diverse learners
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing a split caseload across two sites

Responsibilities Include:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student
• Provide engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to unique learning needs
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary

• Maintain timely and accurate documentation and reporting
• Foster a positive, supportive, and safe classroom culture
