Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid state certification or license to teach Special Education
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred
• Ability to implement IEPs and adapt curriculum based on student requirements
• Strong communication and collaborative skills with staff, parents, and students

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and track individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Modify and deliver instruction tailored to students with varying disabilities
• Foster positive relationships by creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
• Assess student progress regularly and communicate results with families and support staff
• Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and administrators to ensure the best outcomes for all students
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school, state, and federal regulations
