Job Description
We are looking for Litigation Attorney to join a collaborative legal team in San Francisco, California. This opportunity is suited for a California-licensed attorney with litigation experience who can contribute thoughtful legal analysis, strong written advocacy, and practical guidance to clients. The role offers meaningful client interaction, exposure to complex disputes, and a supportive environment that supports long-term career growth while maintaining an in-office presence several days each week.
Responsibilities:
• Represent clients in employment-related litigation matters from initial case assessment through resolution.
• Prepare persuasive motions, briefs, pleadings, and other legal filings with a high degree of accuracy and strategic judgment.
• Manage discovery activities, including drafting requests, reviewing responses, and coordinating document production.
• Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, regulations, and case law to support litigation strategy and client advice.
• Participate in hearings, depositions, mediations, and other proceedings while collaborating with attorneys across practice areas.
• Communicate directly with clients to provide updates, explain legal risks, and develop practical, business-oriented recommendations.
• Handle multiple active matters in a fast-paced setting while meeting deadlines and maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Contribute to class action, wage and hour, construction, government contracts, or other complex dispute matters when applicable.
• Active membership in the California Bar.• 2-5 years of litigation experience as a practicing attorney.
• Demonstrated ability to draft motions, briefs, and other substantive legal documents.
• Experience managing discovery and supporting all phases of civil litigation.
• Strong legal writing, analytical reasoning, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
• Proven capacity to balance competing priorities and deadlines in a demanding practice setting.
