Electrical Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic / Technician for a busy production and manufacturing facility in the 77093 area. This position requires strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills with hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing CNC and automated production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair CNC production machinery and industrial equipment
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical failures and determine root causes
• Troubleshoot motors, sensors, switches, relays, contactors, control panels, and electrical circuits
• Perform repairs and adjustments to production machinery to minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals
• Replace defective electrical and mechanical components
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns during production
• Document repairs and completed maintenance
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area

Qualifications

• Previous industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience required
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience repairing CNC or automated production equipment
• Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge
• Ability to use meters and other electrical diagnostic equipment
• PLC/VFD troubleshooting experience is a strong plus
• Must be comfortable working independently on 3rd shift
• Must be dependable and able to troubleshoot equipment under production demands
