Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team
• Manage a patient assignment of up to 5–7 patients; nurse-to-patient ratio information is encouraged on work history
• Provide care for medical surgical, telemetry, and post-operative surgical patients
• Document patient care using EPIC EMR
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Med Surg, Post-Op, or Stepdown experience required
• Surgical and post-operative surgical experience required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• Active Illinois and/or Iowa state RN license required
• Valid Driver's License required
• Must not have been employed by the facility client within the last 12 months
• Must have a taxable address located at least 50 miles from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least one prior travel nursing contract completed
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR
