Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Rocky Mount, NC | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (1845–0715) | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit, including an isolation/COVID unit and overflow unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and cardiac rhythms for assigned patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in alignment with unit protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Telemetry experience required
• Basic Arrhythmia exam score of 85% or greater required
• BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health records system
• Prior experience in an isolation or COVID unit setting
