This full-service acute care hospital provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and emergency services to patients throughout the surrounding region. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and appropriate resources to support quality emergency care delivery across day and night shift coverage periods. Infrastructure is in place to accommodate locum tenens clinicians during assigned shifts.

Mississippi offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of historical, cultural, and scenic attractions suited to varied interests. The state is home to Vicksburg National Military Park, the Elvis Presley Birthplace and Museum, and the Natchez Trace Parkway, as well as the Mississippi Blues Trail, Freedom Trail, and the Civil Rights Museum, which reflect the state's significant role in American history and music. Clinicians may also explore scenic waterways and historic sites along the Yazoo River during time away from clinical duties.

The Emergency Medicine Physician will provide locum tenens clinical coverage during day and night shifts in a high-acuity, 32-bed Emergency Department that sees approximately 33,350 visits annually. Clinicians will evaluate and manage a broad range of acute and emergent cases across all age groups, performing procedures including moderate sedation throughout each assigned shift. The physician will work alongside NP/PA support staff and will serve as the supervising or backup clinician for advanced practice clinicians as operationally required.
