Welder
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our manufacturing team. Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications
- Operate various welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and arc welders, to join metal parts accurately
- Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and aligning components before welding
- Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and adherence to safety standards
- Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or construction environment
- Proficiency in different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, arc welding)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Knowledge of safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (e.g., AWS certification) are a plus
- Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy materials as required
