Your weekend, reimagined: three days on, four days off

Picture this: It’s 6:00am Friday. You clock in, gear up, and step into a clean, organized build area. By Sunday evening at 6:30pm, you’ve brought power to life—assembling, routing, and terminating the electrical guts that make complex systems run. Then you’re off for four full days.

What your days look like

You’ll follow safety and manufacturing standards to build high-quality electrical assemblies. You’ll read instructions, keep your space tidy, and spot risks before they become rework. Expect to:

  • Install electrical components such as disconnects, lights, panel boards, transformers, battery chargers, lighting contactors, VFDs, and more
  • Bend, run, and install conduit (EMT and Rigid) and install wireway and cable tray
  • Pull wire and large cable; cut, strip, crimp, and terminate conductors
  • Route and connect wiring per standard work/process instructions and the NEC Manual
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety/manufacturing practices
  • Perform additional tasks as requested, directed, or assigned
Physical nature of the work
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Constant standing and frequent ladder work (climbing up and down)
  • Regular overhead tasks and work in tight or confined spaces
Background that helps you succeed Education & experience
  • High school diploma or GED plus 1+ year of relevant manufacturing experience, or an equivalent blend of education and related experience
  • Basic command of English (written and spoken)
Core skills
  • Solid basic math
  • Comfort using air, hand, and power tools
  • Fundamental mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure
Preferred extras
  • Conduit bending on a GB Sidewinder style bender (EMT and Rigid)
  • Installing cable tray and wireway
  • Wire crimping and terminations
  • Reading drawings/blueprints
  • Working knowledge of electricity, circuits, and common components (panel boards, transformers, disconnects, terminal blocks, relays, lighting contactors, etc.)
  • Exposure to and awareness of the NEC
Bonus if you’re already proficient in
  • Equipment installation and wiring
  • Blueprint reading
