Job Description
Benefits:
Job Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
Team: PPA Plus
About PPA: The Player Progression Academy is a multi-sport youth academy serving the NW
DC/Montgomery County Region. Our Plus division spans Tots (ages 2–5) and Afterschool soccer, basketball and volleyball programs - bringing structured, coach-led youth sports to kids at their earliest introduction to the game. With an expansive community of over 3000 players, a dedicated team of over 100 coaches, and an office staff of 20 individuals, PPA is committed to fostering player development both inside and outside of the lines.
The Role: We're looking for a reliable, energetic, and organized contractor to fill a dual role on
our PPA Plus team. You'll spend the majority of your time on the field/court leading youth
sports programming — facilitating fun, developmentally appropriate activities for children ages
2.5–10. The rest of your time will be focused on equipment coordination: keeping our program
stocked, organized, and running smoothly every weekend.
This is a boots-on-the-ground role that requires someone who's equally comfortable wrangling a
group of kids and managing a storage unit full of cones and jerseys. If you have a
background in education or recreation, love working with kids, and take
pride in keeping operations organized and on time — this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
On the Field/Court (~10–12 hrs/week, 6 days/week)
Compensation: $1,750/month
strong equipment management are eligible for performance-based bonus compensation. Bonus
eligibility is reviewed seasonally.
- Bonus based on performance
