Assembly Technician

SNELLING is currently seeking an Assembly Technician for a client in the Tyler area. The primary function of this position is to perform installation and assembly during the manufacture of custom equipment. The pay will be $16 – 17 / HR or more based on skills and experience. The schedule is Monday – Friday 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
 
This position will be a temp-to-hire, meaning that SNELLING would work with you through the consideration and interview process and be your employer for a probationary period upon an offer being accepted.
 
Responsibilities of the Assembly Technician position include:

• Reads and works from blueprints and other schematic drawings.
• Installs, fabricates, and assembles wiring and machine controls.
• When needed, reads, and understands quality control manuals and testing specifications to obtain data needed to test or calibrate specific devices.
• As needed, disassembles machine to determine cause of defective operation or failure.

 Qualifications to be considered for the Assembly Technician position include:

• Experience in diagnostics and automotive repair preferred
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Must have mechanical aptitude.
