Job Description
An established distribution operation is seeking a Forklift Operator to move incoming freight from staging areas into designated warehouse storage locations. You will operate forklifts, hi-lifts, and power jacks to stock and replenish inventory while maintaining accurate product locations. This position requires attention to safety, inventory accuracy, product quality, and efficient material movement throughout the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, hi-lifts, and power jacks to transport incoming freight and replenish warehouse pick locations
- Locate, count, and inspect incoming products for damage, temperature, and quality before placing inventory into storage
- Stock multi-level warehouse racks and enter product and location information using RF or handheld equipment
- Rotate date-sensitive inventory, remove outdated products according to established procedures, and relocate overstock as needed
- Inspect equipment, maintain clean work areas, manage equipment batteries, and complete required paperwork
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience required
- 6–12 months of related experience required, including prior warehouse experience
- Must complete forklift/power jack training and obtain required certification
- Ability to perform job duties involving bending, twisting, standing, sitting, and lifting
- 1–2 years of warehouse forklift experience in the foodservice industry preferred
- OSHA Forklift Operator certification preferred

The base pay range for this position is $19.11–$23.82 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
