Job Description
On-site in Merrimack, NH
Our client seeks Software Engineers in Test to join a Quality Engineering organization building and maintaining automated testing solutions across the technology stack. You will collaborate with development and business teams to support continuous integration, test automation, API testing, and test data ecosystems while adhering to engineering standards and agile delivery practices.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $57.00 to $53.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:- Design, develop, document, and maintain automated tests and in-house software utilities.
- Adhere to established software engineering best practices and standards.
- Collaborate with other technical resources.
- Suggest improvements for processes, best practices, and standards.
- Design and develop automated tests and software tools.
- Understand requirements and translate them into test approaches.
- Identify opportunities to improve maintainability of automation platforms.
- Apply test driven design concepts to test and debug automated solutions and utilities.
- Deliver accurate and maintainable code for test automation and software utilities.
- 10+ years of testing or development experience automating across UI, APIs, and backend data stores.
- Programming experience with Java, Python, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Karate, Cucumber, Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with AWS services.
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines including Jenkins and uDeploy.
- Experience working in a collaborative Agile environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work across teams to gather information, solve problems, and exchange feedback.
- Motivation to learn new technologies, services, tools, and techniques.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
