Welder
Pay Rate: $19.24–$21.20/hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing Welder to weld production and prototype instrumentation components using various welding processes, including TIG and/or MIG. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of materials, including stainless steel and precious or semi-precious metals.
Responsibilities
- Weld production and prototype instrumentation piece parts using TIG, MIG, and other applicable welding processes.
- Work with various materials, including stainless steel, precious metals, and semi-precious metals.
- Set up fixtures and lay out work for production and prototype components.
- Operate programmed welding machines for production units.
- Assist machine welding operators with higher-volume production as needed.
- Ensure welds meet destructive and non-destructive testing requirements based on product certifications.
- Maintain individual welding qualifications and certifications according to product requirements.
- Perform miscellaneous welding and production duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Welding experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience with TIG and/or MIG welding.
- Ability to work with stainless steel and various types of metals.
- Ability to read and follow welding specifications and production requirements.
- Must be able to maintain required welding qualifications and certifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
