Job Breakdown – Cath Lab Tech

• Position: Cath Lab Technologist
• Setting: Acute Care – Level I Trauma
• Schedule: 4×9-hour days + Call
• Start Time: 7:00 AM or 8:30 AM, as assigned
• Guaranteed: 36 hours/week
• Contract: 13 weeks
• EMR: Epic
• Equipment: McKesson
• Labs/Suites: 6
• Average Cases: ~18/day

Must-Have Requirements

• Minimum 3 years Cath Lab experience
• Cath Lab + Neuro experience
• ARRT(R)
• BLS & ACLS (AHA)
• High-risk coronary intervention experience
• STEMI intervention experience
• Must be able to scrub and circulate STEMI cases
• Willing to learn circulating/monitoring for neuro-interventional cases
• Active IL license or proof that IL license application has been initiated

Call & Weekend Requirements

• Call required
• 30-minute response time
• 4 weekends (Sat/Sun) during the 13-week assignment

Other Important Details

• Scrubs provided
• Orientation: 5 shifts during the first week
• No BSN requirement
• Local candidates within 50 miles receive a $25 lower rate
• Requested time off must be submitted upfront
• Negative drug screen required
• OSF cancellation policy: 12 hours per 13 weeks without penalty.
