Job Summary
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (CCL TECH) position is based in the healthcare setting and involves supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. This role requires working on days shifts, with on-call responsibilities, to provide essential specialized technical support. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient care in a fast-paced cardiac catheterization environment.
Job Details
- Position: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (CCL TECH)
- Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts (06:30 AM - 07:00 PM for 3x12s or 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM for 4x10s), minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Active MD or Compact License, ARRT-R and/or RCIS certification, BLS, ACLS, 2 years recent/strong cath lab experience, experience with diagnostic cath labs, cardiac stent placement, PCI, and other interventional procedures
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IABP placement/removal, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and use of specialized cardiac equipment
- Schedule: 3x12 or 4x10 days considered/accepted, with required on-call shifts approximately 8 weeknights and 4 weekend 24-hour shifts within a 6-week schedule.
- Additional Information: The role involves working within an interdisciplinary team supporting adult and geriatric patients, with daily census of 10-15 patients. Candidates must be comfortable floating within scope and adhere to on-call and holiday schedule requirements.
