Staffing Coordinator

Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Day Pay: $27.00-$29.00/hour

Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity where your work truly matters? Cottage Grove Place is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Staffing Coordinator to join our team!

In this role, you will have the opportunity to coordinate employee schedules, maintain adequate staffing levels, and ensure operational coverage to meet organizational needs. This role works closely with managers, supervisors, and employees to create efficient schedules, fill open shifts, manage time-off requests, and support workforce planning initiatives of staffing patterns for professional and nonprofessional nursing employees for the Health Center, Assisted Living, Assisted Living Memory Care, and Choice In-Home Services departments.

• Establish staffing patterns and schedules for nurses and nursing assistants.
• Work with human resources to advise them on staffing needs, status changes, terminations, and other necessary information for the smooth flow of work regarding employees.
• Assist in securing staff for absences, leaves, etc., adjusting schedules as required.
• On-call for emergency staffing changes and communicate with department management for compliance.
• Work collaboratively with team members to create a positive environment
• Follow company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in staffing, recruiting, human resources, or workforce scheduling.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in staffing agencies, healthcare staffing, or workforce management environments.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
• Knowledge of employment laws and hiring practices.
