Position Summary: Chief Communications Officer

C-Strategies seeks a dynamic, strategic, seasoned, and highly accomplished Chief Communications Officer (CCO) to serve as the firm's senior communications leader. Joining at an exciting and important moment in the organization’s evolution, this leader must balance strategic vision with operational excellence, overseeing the quality, strategic direction, and delivery of client work across the firm. This is an executive role for an experienced strategist who can provide exceptional counsel to clients, lead and develop a high-performing team, and help shape the next phase of growth for the firm.

The CCO is responsible for overseeing the execution of client work across the firm while leading, coaching, and empowering the professionals who deliver it. The CCO will be an expert practitioner with an exacting eye for detail and narrative framing. They bring deep communications expertise, sound judgment, and the poise to thrive under pressure, guiding clients through fast-moving, high-stakes situations while helping develop the next generation of leaders within the firm. Working in collaboration with the COO, the CCO helps establish the standards, coaching, and workflows that enable the firm to consistently deliver exceptional work as it continues to grow.

Position Details

This is a hybrid position based in Chicago, IL, with an expectation of regular in-office presence and some evening and weekend availability as part of the role given the nature of client work.
