Cath Lab Technologist Shift Notes
This position offers a schedule of 0700 to 1530, five days a week, with the option for four 10-hour shifts.
Weekend and On-Call Requirements- Weekend call is required, with one weekend per month scheduled.
- On-call duties range from 6 to 10 days per month, incorporating weekends based on staffing needs and medical leaves.
- Support the mission and values of the organization through professional behavior and positive interactions with peers and patients.
- Perform specialized procedures related to vascular and cardiovascular diagnostics, ensuring high-quality imaging and diagnostic studies.
- Coordinate special procedure examinations to maintain continuity in patient care and optimize outcomes.
- Facilitate efficient department operations and contribute to the successful implementation of patient care plans.
- Demonstrate a commitment to professional growth, staying updated with the evolving practices in the field.
- Maintain dependability in job performance to support effective departmental operations.
- Associate's degree in Radiology Technology or a graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography Program is required.
- ARRT registration is mandatory.
- BLS certification is required.
- ACLS certification must be obtained within one year of hire.
- One year of experience in Vascular and Cardiac Cath lab or in Special Procedures is preferred.
Candidates interested in this role should be prepared to live within a 30-minute commute of the facility during the assignment.
