Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of general radiology experience and ARRT(R) certification for a night shift position.
Details
- Radiology department setting
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Saturday through Monday
- 36 hours per week across 3 shifts
- 4 call shifts required per month
Requirements
- ARRT(R) certification required
- State Radiology Tech License (RAD) required; license required if applicable
- BLS certification required
- KY license required by start of assignment
- Minimum of 2 years experience in general radiology
Additional Information
- Produce and retain high quality diagnostic images meeting department, organizational, and industry standards
- Prepare patients for procedures, provide education, and respond to questions or concerns
- Apply radiation safety techniques and devices to minimize exposure to patients and staff
- Demonstrate understanding of patient positioning, imaging technique, radiation safety, imaging equipment, infection control, and quality control techniques
- Oversee and train students providing patient care as part of their training
- Apply age-appropriate approach to communication, safety needs, and patient education
