Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Cath Lab Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, including setup and maintenance of all associated equipment.
• Support interventional cardiac cath lab activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Perform diagnostic catheterizations for adult patients, maintaining sterile techniques throughout procedures.
• Monitor vital signs and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias, providing immediate notification to the cardiologist as required.
• Execute isolation precautions and utilize personal protective equipment as needed.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, providing availability for urgent procedures.

Qualifications

• Current ACLS, BLS, and ARRT or RCIS certification required. Prefer ARRT certification.
• Minimum of one year experience in a cardiac cath lab setting.
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system is essential.
• Experience and skills in handling cardiac implant closure devices and stent placements.
• Demonstrated ability to perform diagnostic catheterizations and interventions such as PCI and PTCA.
• Strong knowledge of infection control practices, including sterile techniques and isolation precautions.
