Job Title: Electronics TechnicianJob Description

The Electronics Technician will assemble, wire, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and electromechanical systems in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure that all products meet stringent performance and quality requirements. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing, defense, aerospace, medical devices, or other technically demanding production environments who enjoys working on complex systems and solving technical problems.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble, wire, and integrate electronic components, subassemblies, and complete systems.
  • Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic and electromechanical systems.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, work instructions, and technical documentation to guide assembly and repair work.
  • Support product builds and day-to-day manufacturing operations by completing assigned production tasks on schedule.
  • Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic failures using systematic problem-solving methods.
  • Document repairs, test procedures, and testing results accurately to maintain traceability and quality records.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve technical issues and implement improvements.
  • Maintain quality standards by following established processes, procedures, and inspection criteria throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and best practices while working with tools, equipment, and electronic systems.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance assembly, test, and troubleshooting processes.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an electronics technician, in electronics assembly, or in a closely related role.
  • Proven experience in electronics manufacturing or a technical production environment, ideally in defense, aerospace, medical device, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Hands-on experience using standard hand tools and electronic test equipment for assembly, measurement, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities when working with complex electronic and electromechanical systems.
  • Practical experience with soldering, printed circuit boards (PCB), cable harnesses, and wiring harnesses.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing practices and quality standards in technical environments.
  • Ability to maintain high attention to detail and accuracy in assembly, testing, and documentation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience working in defense industry or other highly regulated electronics manufacturing environments.
  • Exposure to IPC standards and best practices for electronics assembly and soldering.
  • Background with organizations such as electronics manufacturers, medical device manufacturers, or advanced technology production companies.
  • Comfort working on complex products where root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and technical expertise are central to success.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and operations.
  • Strong communication skills for documenting work and discussing technical issues with team members.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $42.00/hr.
