Delivery Driver

We are seeking a candidate to deliver/pick-up Home Medical Equipment (Home Hospital Beds, Lift Chairs, Patient lifts, Scooters, Wheelchairs) to residential homes and commercial facilities using a company vehicle. We are based in NW Tampa and service Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas Counties. Position is currently part-time Monday thru Friday (days only) averaging 25 hours per week. Full-time potential exists with assignment of additional responsibilities after a 90 day probation period. Prior training on Home Medical Equipment is not mandatory. Starting hourly is based upon experience with pay raises awarded after completion of 90 day probation period and also upon completion of 6 months employment.

Responsibilities:

• Delivery or pick-up of Home Medical Equipment, averaging 5 stops per day.
• Demonstrate features and operations of delivered equipment.
• Clean and maintain rental equipment.
• Complete route daily and responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Clean and maintain company vehicle.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record (no DUI, DWI or license suspensions)
• Must pass a Level Two AHCA Background Check (no felonies, no drug charges).
• Some heavy lifting required (90 lbs.) during delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous route delivery experience.
• Previous Medical Equipment experience (including repair).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
