Wire EDM Machine Operator

Wire E.D.M. Operator needed to join a fast paced, small-dynamic company.

All around Wire E.D.M specialist with the ability to write estimates as well as operate multiple machines. Wire E.D.M. Experience, Fast Hole Experience, General Shop Experience, Ability to Read Prints, Drilling Experience, EDM Experience, Small hole EDM, Drill Press, Bridgeport, Performs all assigned machine shop operations. Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures. Performs inspection of products and document results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Proven experience in the programming and operation of Wire EDM
• Maintenance of multiple Wire EDM units.
• Work directly with management to achieve continuous improvement objectives.
• Work with Reps on estimating and costs

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum high school diploma
• 4 years’ work experience

Competencies:

• Communication, Mathematical Skills, Mechanical Capacity, Technical Capacity, Time Management Position requires 45-50 hours per week Monday through Friday (some Saturdays).
