RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT

Gallagher and Henry, a family-owned residential builder and general contractor, is seeking an experienced Residential Construction Superintendent to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on construction professional who takes pride in quality, enjoys working with people, and knows how to keep projects moving.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Manage residential construction from mechanical through closing and warranty.
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and trade partners to ensure quality, schedule, and code compliance.
• Maintain construction schedules and ensure homes are ready for inspections and closing.
• Coordinate permits, municipal inspections, and Certificates of Occupancy.
• Monitor workmanship, jobsite safety, cleanliness, and overall quality.
• Communicate with customers, subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, municipalities, and internal teams.
• Review trade partner work, purchase orders, and invoices.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
• Work collaboratively with other Superintendents and team members.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years of residential construction management experience, preferably with a production homebuilder.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction; carpentry experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make timely decisions.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; construction-related education or an associate/bachelor's degree is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with SoftPlan, AutoCAD, or similar construction software is a plus.
