Property Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

StayAPT Suites is seeking a reliable and skilled Property Maintenance Technician to help maintain our hotel property and ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance, basic plumbing, electrical work, painting, preventative maintenance, and deep cleaning procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine property inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Complete work orders and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Conduct basic plumbing repairs, including replacing faucets, unclogging drains, repairing leaks, and toilet repairs.
• Perform simple electrical repairs such as replacing outlets, switches, light fixtures, and troubleshooting minor electrical issues.
• Repair and touch-up painted surfaces in guest suites and common areas.
• Conduct deep cleaning of guest suites, including appliances, walls, HVAC units, and high-touch surfaces as needed.
• Maintain HVAC filters and perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations.
• Assist with room turns, renovations, and property improvement projects.
• Maintain exterior grounds, walkways, parking areas, and common spaces.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Keep maintenance tools, supplies, and storage areas organized.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel, apartment, or property maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repair techniques.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including walking, bending, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license
• Weekend and holiday availability may be required.
