Refrigeration Service Technician

Premium Farm Solutions is seeking a Refrigeration Service Technician to join our growing service team. This position is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing refrigeration equipment and related control systems at customer locations throughout Michigan.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, customer-focused, and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship. This role offers the opportunity to work independently while supporting systems that are critical to the success of dairy operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems
• Perform preventive maintenance and operational inspections
• Install, start up, and commission refrigeration equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues
• Communicate service findings and recommendations to customers
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time
• Follow company safety policies and industry standards
• Maintain professional customer relationships
• Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment

Required Qualifications

• Experience servicing refrigeration equipment or similar mechanical systems
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage daily service activities
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• EPA Certification
• Technical training, trade school education, or equivalent experience
• Experience with commercial, industrial, or agricultural refrigeration systems
• Experience with electrical controls and diagnostics
• Field service experience
