Duration: 6 Months
Job Description:
- Worker must have at least two-years prior experience in data entry. Required experience will enable this worker to operate data entry machines and personal computers to accurately enter data at a rate of 8,500 keystrokes per hour.
- Additionally, ability to record, identify and correct data entry errors is expected. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions and perform highly repetitive work under sometimes-noisy conditions. Arithmetic calculation either manually or using a calculator, may be required
- Department specific requirements:
- someone that has banking or mortgage company experience is preferred. Knowledge of company entities (corporations & LLC), familiarity with reading leases, bylaws, operating agreements. Understands industry terminology. Prior experience at IDFPR or division of banking. Has done work that requires discretion as the position deals with corporate entities and owners of companies.
- The department has a short window of time to get someone trained, so they need someone that has some familiarity with the work and can interpret the information to do data entry. It's not like data entry of numbers or always straight forward. If there are former processors, closers, underwriters, or administrative assistants. Those are the types of backgrounds they would be looking for ideally.
- Bending/Lifting 50lbs: May require squatting, climbing, bending, standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- High School Diploma/GED: Completion of high school or GED. Must be able to prove completion if necessary.
- Keyboarding (50 wpm): Touch-typing skills to type alphanumeric correspondence, word processor documents, and additional paragraph structured documents
- Computer Software
- Skills: Basic knowledge and familiarity with word processor programs (MS Word, WordPerfect, or other as approved by the User Agency), spreadsheet programs (Excel, Lotus, Quattro Pro, or other as approved by the User Agency), database software (MS Access, or other as approved by the User Agency), and email software programs.
- General computer know-how, with ability to research via the Internet.
- The User Agency will specify at time of order what specific software programs will be used by the temporary worker on the assignment. Indicate the specific type/s of software experience you are requesting
- Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, SharePoint, etc.), Adobe, Web-based solutions related to Mortgage Banking renewals
