Local Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate - 26ft Box Truck

Redstone Foods is a distributor of candy and soda to retail customers in the DFW area and beyond. We are seeking a LOCAL delivery driver who has experience driving a 26-foot box truck and is over 25 years old.

Our ideal candidate must have:

• Must be comfortable and have the ability to interact with customers
• Must have 3+ years of experience with hands on deliveries as primary driver with oversized vehicles (26 ft box truck- non CDL).
• Must be comfortable driving in the Dallas-Fort Worth and surrounding areas while also working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Must be willing to work in the Warehouse on Mondays to perform operational needs: pulling, packing and shipping in our air-conditioned 160,000 sq. ft. warehouse

Driver Responsibilities include:

• Complete order pick-ups from suppliers
• Drive and maintain a 26’ box truck
• Record any delivery/pick-up discrepancies and inform management of any delays in the delivery schedule
• Load and unload product to/from truck by hand, dolly, or forklift
• Communicate customer concerns with warehouse management and customer service
• Be flexible with route changes and make good judgment calls when presented with delivery challenges
• Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety of the vehicle
• Maintain company vehicle and report any damage to the vehicle
• When working in the warehouse, work with pullers, packers, and stockers to maintain an efficient working environment

Qualifications we are seeking:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Warehouse delivery experience
• Candidates must be at least 25 years of age
• Positive can-do attitude with excellent driver safety skills
• Friendly, optimistic, self-motivated personality with excellent communication skills
• Flexible to work a variety of hours as business demands
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, push carts over 60 lbs, and use ladders
• Must be able to operate a pallet jack and organize pallets
• Must be able to physically stand, reach, pull, bend, stoop and kneel for long periods of time
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
• Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background as well as E-Verify
