Shipping Receiving Specialist

We are seeking a Shipping Receiving Specialist to become an integral part of our team! You will help coordinate incoming and outgoing shipment activities. The schedule will be Mon-Thur, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional overtime until 4:30 PM.

• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving environment
• Knowledge and ability to safely operate material handling eq, including forklift
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS), carriers' systems (i.e. FedEx, UPS, etc.)
• Computer skills including email, spreadsheets and Docs
• Detail-orientation in performing accurate transactions (inbound/outbound)
• Knowledge of FiFo and shelf life sensitive inventory management methods 
• Effective communication skills: clear, concise and positive
• Adhere to and promote safety requirements and policies in a production environment
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to walk, lift, carry, grasp, bend, reach, kneel, climb stairs and ladders is required
• Available to work flexible hours as necessary (flexibility to work overtime as needed)
• Ability to work safely and with minimal supervision (team player)
