Location: Oldsmar, FL
Pay Rate: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7am-330pm
Job Type: Full-time | In person

Spiral Winding Machine Operator Responsibilities
- Set up, start, operate, and shut down the high-speed spiral winding machine.
- Monitor machine operation to maintain consistent production speed, quality, and efficiency.
- Monitor machine uptime and performance and make adjustments as needed.
- Troubleshoot tube quality issues and make appropriate machine adjustments.
- Load raw materials, including large paper rolls, onto the machine as required.
- Periodically lift paper rolls weighing up to 30 pounds onto the production system.
- Monitor equipment for unusual noises, odors, or erratic machine behavior and report concerns to management or maintenance.
- Complete accurate daily production reports and documentation.
- Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all food safety procedures, machine safety requirements, and company policies.
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production and quality goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Spiral Winding Machine Operator Requirements
- Previous manufacturing, machine operation, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
- Mechanical experience is a plus.
- Ability to learn machine controls, touchscreen systems, and production procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic machine and product quality issues.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to lift paper rolls weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive production tasks.
- Ability to work safely around moving machinery and production equipment.
- Ability to follow food safety, cleanliness, and machine safety standards.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Willingness to work overtime during busy production periods, as needed.
Work Environment
- Air-conditioned, well-lit manufacturing facility with modern production equipment and facility amenities.
- Food-grade production environment requiring strict adherence to cleanliness and food safety standards.
- Employees must wear appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes. Tattered clothing, shorts, and open-toe shoes are not permitted.
- Security cameras monitor the facility to support a safe work environment.
- On-the-job training is provided for machine operation, touchscreen controls, production procedures, and safety requirements.
