Darby Creek Trading is seeking a Warehouse Associate to become an integral part of our fast-paced team! This role requires a team player who will be responsible for picking and packing high end home decor and floral products. The role also includes shipping orders, receiving, and stocking inventory. Darby Creek Trading’s ideal candidate has knowledge and experience in carrying out basic warehouse duties and responsibilities. The Warehouse Associate will help coordinate unpacking, labeling, managing, retrieving, organizing, performing cycle counts, and restocking warehouse inventory. The safe and effective operation of motorized, and or electrical equipment including forklift and pallet jacks is also vital to the role.

Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack orders

• Label and ship orders using FedEx, UPS, USPS, Shopify and Shipstation platforms

• Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise and returns

• Arrange appropriate transportation of products and logistics of orders

• Assist customers with shipping inquiries

• Move merchandise throughout the facility

• Perform administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in pick and pack, shipping, receiving, inventory, or other related fields

• Previous experience and knowledge in inventory software, databases, and systems

• Ability to handle physical workload - Must be able to lift 40 pounds often and throughout the day

• Current forklift license desired - will train the right candidate

• Ability to multitask and prioritize, thrive in fast-paced environment, and follow direction

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Familiarity with industrial equipment

• High school diploma or equivalent
