Parts Counter Salesperson

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM | Alternating Saturdays, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

About the Role:

Irr Supply Centers, Inc. is looking for a dependable, long-term team member to join us as a Parts Counter Salesperson.

This is an active, customer-facing position that combines customer service, parts sales, inventory, and warehouse work. The ideal candidate will have:

• A strong history of employment stability and longevity with previous employers
• Customer-facing experience in retail, sales, service, hospitality, parts, or a similar environment
• Hands-on or warehouse experience and comfort working on your feet throughout the day
• Patience and willingness to learn — this position requires time to develop product and system knowledge
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask without sacrificing accuracy
• A dependable, team-oriented approach and interest in building a long-term career

We are especially interested in candidates who have demonstrated that they stay, learn, and grow in their roles. Previous parts or industry experience is helpful, but we can teach the products and systems to the right person.

What You’ll Do:

• Help customers in person and by phone identify and locate the parts they need
• Provide accurate product, pricing, and availability information
• Process sales and customer orders using our computer system
• Learn our products, inventory system, and processes
• Pull, pick, stage, and restock parts
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy
• Move and organize products in the warehouse
• Maintain a clean and organized counter and warehouse
• Balance customer service, phone calls, computer work, and warehouse tasks throughout the day
• Work with your team to provide accurate, timely service

• Demonstrated employment stability and longevity
• Previous customer-facing experience
• Warehouse, inventory, retail, parts, or other hands-on experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to learn and retain detailed product information
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Dependable, punctual, and accountable
• Comfortable working on your feet and handling products throughout the day
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team
• Willingness to work alternating Saturdays
• Ability to safely lift and move products
• Must be able to pass a drug screening
