Shipping & Receiving Associate - 1st Shift

Openwork is hiring an experienced Shipping & Receiving Associate for a manufacturing facility in Denton, TX. This is primarily a shipping and receiving position, with forklift operation required as part of the job.

Candidates should have 2+ years of shipping and receiving or warehouse logistics experience, customer service and computer skills, and sit-down forklift experience. This is an extremely fast-paced environment, so strong multitasking and organization are important.

Location: Denton, TX
Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour | Higher pay available based on experience | Weekly Pay
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Shift: 1st Shift
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Overtime: As needed

• Handle daily shipping and receiving
• Receive and process incoming and outgoing materials
• Check orders, quantities, and shipping paperwork for accuracy
• Enter and update information in computer systems
• Communicate with customers, drivers, and warehouse employees
• Provide professional customer service
• Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Load and unload trucks
• Operate a sit-down forklift as needed
• Stage and organize materials
• Report damaged materials, shortages, or discrepancies
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

• 2+ years of shipping and receiving, warehouse logistics, or related experience
• Sit-down forklift experience
• Customer service experience
• Basic computer, email, and data-entry skills
• Experience with shipping paperwork and order documentation
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Availability for overtime as needed

This is not primarily a forklift position. The main focus is shipping and receiving. Candidates must be comfortable with customer service, computer work, shipping documentation, multitasking, and warehouse responsibilities, while also being able to operate a forklift when needed.
