Tooling Associate

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking Tooling Associates for an auto manufacturer located in Tonawanda, NY.

Shifts Available:

2nd: 3:00pm - 11:30pm Mon-Fri

3rd: 11:00pm - 7:00am Sun-Thurs

***rotating OT as needed

Payrate: $23.50-24.00/hr, shift dependent

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for routine delivery of tooling and from facilities and keep tools clean between usage
• Operates simple hand tools to recondition tools (i.e. screwdrivers, wrenches etc.)
• Operate tool measuring devices- hand & computer system gages
• Operate computer equipment to store and/or communicate test results and billing system.
• Report and document non-conformance and corrective actions
• Assist engineering team with completion of plant failure studies.

Qualifications: 

Must be mechanically inclined/ be able to pay attention to detail

• Ability to work with little to no supervision
• Ability to work well with others
• Good Mechanical skills
• Basic knowledge of materials and tooling
• Ability to lift 50lbs & stand long periods of time
• High school Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)
