Job Description
We are seeking a Nurse Manager to join our team! The Nurse Manager plays a key role managing the nursing care of patients according to the scope of duties described in RCW 18.79.260.
The mission of Options360 Women’s Clinic is to provide evidence-based medical and education services related to sexual health in a caring and respectful environment.
SUMMARY: The Nurse Manager provides leadership to organize and work with a team of caring medical professionals at Options360 Women’s Clinic. The Nurse Manager should have a hands-on management style, be transparent and approachable, and be adaptable in a changing environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provides nursing care: assesses patient needs and makes nursing judgments that reflect safe nursing practices
- Performs limited obstetrical ultrasounds upon receiving training
- Organizes, directs, supervises, and evaluates professional and ancillary personnel
- Communicate with collaborating physicians regarding patient care
- Develops, maintains, reviews, and updates clinic medical policies and procedures
- Educate patients about current conditions and disease prevention
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their family members
Qualifications:
- Three+ years of previous experience in nursing
- Supervisory experience required
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
