General Laborer

The General Laborer will support construction sites by performing material handling, site preparation, loading and unloading, debris removal, grounds maintenance, tool maintenance, cleaning, and other essential tasks. This role will regularly use hand and power tools, report to the General Contractor, and require occasional local travel.

Responsibilities

• Handle and move materials throughout construction sites.
• Prepare work areas for construction activities.
• Load and unload materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Remove debris and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
• Perform grounds maintenance and general site upkeep.
• Maintain and care for hand and power tools.
• Follow workplace safety requirements and construction-site procedures.
• Complete general cleaning duties and support the construction team as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in general labor.
• Experience with manual material handling.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices.
• Physical stamina for construction-site work.
• Strong teamwork and reliability.
• Basic measurement skills
