CT Technologist

Shifts: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM or 3:00 PM–11:00 PM

Compensation

• $33–$49/hour, based on experience, education, and applicable certifications.

Position Overview

We are partnered with a Magnet designated Hospital that is seeking CT Technologists to perform a variety of CT procedures in a patient-centered healthcare environment. Radiologic Technologists and new graduates interested in transitioning into CT are encouraged to apply. CT registry-eligible candidates will have up to 12 months to obtain their ARRT CT certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations safely and accurately according to established protocols.
• Provide patient education and maintain radiation safety standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records using RIS and PACS systems.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist with patient transport and maintain a clean, organized imaging environment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and participate in workflow improvement initiatives.
• Provide clinical guidance and education to imaging students as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited 2-year Radiologic Technology program.
• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist license.
• Active ARRT registration.
• ARRT CT certification or registry eligibility required.
• CT registry-eligible candidates must obtain CT certification within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification required or obtained at time of hire.
• At least 1 year of general radiologic technologist experience preferred; CT experience is a plus but not required.
