Late-Night Restaurant Team/ Food Truck Team Member

Frankie's Dawg House is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and high-energy Late-Night Team Member to join our mobile food truck and restaurant crew! This dynamic position combines fast-paced food preparation with friendly customer interaction during our peak after-hours shifts, making it a perfect fit for a night owl who loves working on the move and interacting with the community. Because the late-night crowd brings a unique energy and unpredictable situations, we are seeking sharp individuals who possess excellent situational awareness, strong conflict-de-escalation skills, and a professional, patient attitude to keep our environment safe, fun, and welcoming for everyone.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and assemble menu items quickly and accurately according to established recipes in both the restaurant kitchen and on the food truck
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders at the counter or truck window, and handling transactions with a warm, welcoming attitude
• Maintain high situational awareness of the immediate environment around the restaurant or food truck parking zone to ensure guest and staff safety
• Practice proactive communication and de-escalation techniques to manage unruly, over-served, or impatient patrons smoothly and professionally
• Assist with the daily setup, breakdown, and securing of operations, including managing line flow, keeping order, and executing robust closing and lockdown duties
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation while strictly following all food safety guidelines in compact or high-volume spaces
• Help close down, deep-clean, and secure the restaurant kitchen or break down and lock up the food truck safely at the end of the night

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of previous restaurant, kitchen, food service, or front-of-house experience is required
• Must have open availability for late nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong situational awareness and the ability to remain calm, cool, and collected under high-pressure or unpredictable social situations
• Experience or comfort in setting healthy boundaries with impaired or difficult customers using polite yet firm communication
• Ability to work efficiently in a compact, fast-paced environment and adapt quickly when transitioning between the restaurant and the food truck
• Reliable, punctual, and highly safety-conscious during late-night closing hours
• A valid driver's license and own transportation are a plus
