Deli Associate

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will assist customers, prepare and package deli products, maintain food safety standards, and help ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly, professional customer service and assist customers with product selections.
• Stock, organize, and maintain retail shelves, displays, and inventory.
• Package, weigh, label, and box retail and deli products accurately.
• Trim, slice, cut, and prepare deli and meat products according to company standards.
• Inspect products for quality, freshness, and accuracy.
• Safely operate slicers, scales, packaging equipment, and other deli tools.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist with additional production, retail, and department tasks as needed.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous deli, food service, grocery, or retail experience preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable attendance and a positive team-oriented attitude.
