Day Time Janitor - Now Hiring

Production Plant Janitor

A manufacturing company in Westfield, NY is looking for experienced a Janitor to help keep the facility clean and organized. This position involves removing trash and scrap throughout the facility, cleaning common areas, and handling heavy materials throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Gather scrap from the production floor, weigh it, and move it to the dumpster several times throughout the shift

• Repeatedly lift and carry heavy bags and containers of scrap and trash

• Remove trash from the production floor, break room, bathrooms, and offices

• Clean and maintain offices, break room, and bathrooms

• Help keep the facility clean and free of debris

• Use a forklift to move materials when needed, if experienced

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be able to repeatedly lift and move heavy materials throughout the shift

• Must be comfortable working on your feet and doing physical work

• Previous janitorial, cleaning, manufacturing, or warehouse experience is helpful

• Forklift experience is a bonus but not required

• Reliable transportation required

• Must be able to complete a background check

Benefits/Compensation

• 1st shift 7:30a-5p M-F

• $17/hr  

• Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts
