About this job

🩺 Medical, Lab & First Aid Professionals: Get Paid to Demonstrate What You Do

We are looking for U.S.-based medical, laboratory, first aid, and related professionals to record first-person (POV) videos demonstrating professional skills while explaining what they are doing step by step.

Using our mobile app and a phone head mount, you will demonstrate appropriate tasks from your field and provide continuous, detailed narration throughout the process.

Pay: $10 USD per approved recording hour
Assignment: Minimum 10 approved hours ($100 total)
Location: United States
Schedule: Flexible
Interview required before selection
Head mount provided if needed

🎙️ What You Will Do

Imagine you are teaching someone who cannot see what you are doing.

Each recording should show a task from start to finish while you explain:

  • What you are doing
  • What tools, equipment, or materials you are using
  • How you are performing each step
  • Measurements or quantities you are using
  • What you see, feel, hear, or notice
  • Why you perform a step a certain way
  • Safety precautions and proper handling
  • What you check for along the way
  • How you know the task has been completed correctly
  • What you are going to do next

For example:

“I am holding the pipette vertically and pressing the plunger to the first stop. Next, I am lowering the tip into the liquid. I am slowly releasing the plunger to draw the liquid into the tip…”

You do not need to sound scripted. Talk naturally and continuously while demonstrating your work.

🧪🩹 Examples of What You Can Demonstrate

Depending on your professional experience, recordings may include:

  • Pipetting and liquid handling
  • Sample preparation
  • Measuring and transferring liquids
  • Microscope setup and use
  • Common laboratory procedures
  • Laboratory workspace setup and organization
  • PPE procedures
  • Handwashing and sanitation
  • Preparing first aid supplies
  • Bandaging and dressing using mannequins or simulation materials
  • CPR or AED demonstrations using training equipment
  • Simulated first aid procedures
  • Medical or first aid equipment setup
  • Cleaning and preparing equipment
  • Other professional procedures that can be safely demonstrated without patients

We are especially interested in real professional knowledge, including proper technique, decision-making, troubleshooting, safety procedures, and how you use tools and equipment.

✓ Must be based in the United States
✓ Medical, laboratory, first aid, or related professional experience
✓ Comfortable narrating continuously while demonstrating tasks
✓ Smartphone
✓ Able to complete at least 10 approved recording hours
✓ Willing to use a phone head mount while recording

We can provide a phone head mount to selected participants if needed.

We provide training, detailed recording instructions, and sample videos showing what we are looking for.

📹 Interview Required

Selected applicants will complete a short interview before being accepted into the project. We will learn more about your professional background, discuss what you can demonstrate, and explain the recording requirements.

💰 Project Compensation

You will receive $10 USD per approved recording hour, with a minimum assignment of 10 approved hours ($100 total).

Payment is based on recordings that meet the project requirements.

🎙️ Demonstrate It. Explain It. Get Paid.
